Tennessee’s Wild Side is a magazine-style television series featuring great destinations in outdoor environments. We search for, and find, interesting people who appreciate and help protect the state’s natural resources. We write stories about wildlife and take closer looks at available habitats. Wild Side is produced in partnership with The Jackson Foundation with distribution through Nashville Public Television and financial support from Tennessee State Parks, a division of the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation. Most PBS stations in Tennessee and Kentucky broadcast the nine-time regional Emmy Award winning series that has been on the air almost two decades.
